Last time I mentioned: Temporary parking at Tanghai service area...

Today’s destination is Dongdaihe!

Get up in the morning and take a walk. Heehee is eating grass.

Set off

Hee hee, the co-pilot is still the same, but the beautiful scenery outside the window has changed.

I was a little tired from driving, so I rested for two hours at the service area at noon. As a result, I exceeded the time limit when I got off the expressway. It doesn't matter. Just explain the situation truthfully and sign a timeout explanation form.

Shanhaiguan Old Faucet

In the distance is Laolongtou, a section of the city wall that extends into the sea, and is also the eastern starting point of the Great Wall.

Parking at the beach again, eh? Why should I say it again?

It’s too late to enjoy the beautiful scenery, so let’s eat first

I want to eat Anhui Pan Mian. I ran 5 kilometers to buy it specially.

Served with a little champagne

The seafood bought at the night market not far away is very cheap

(Oysters 5 yuan/jin, snails 15 yuan/jin, 6 crabs 25 yuan)

Eat, drink, and rest. Good night.

Get up early the next morning

The rocks in the sea are said to be the tomb of Meng Jiangnu

I looked at the map and found that Meng Jiangnu’s tomb is indeed in the sea. It’s so magical.

I learned from the local fishermen that this stone is also the Jieshi in the ancient saying "Land the Jieshi in the east to view the sea", and it is also the legendary tomb of Meng Jiangnu.

Legend has it that Meng Jiangnu came to Shanhaiguan from the south of the Yangtze River to look for her husband Fan Xiliang. She went through a lot of hardships. As soon as she arrived at Shanhaiguan, Wan Xiliang was tortured to death and buried in the city wall after his death. Meng Jiangnu cried at the root of the Great Wall. For seven days and seven nights, a large section of the Great Wall was torn down, and Fan Xiliang's body was exposed. Qin Shihuang was furious and ordered Meng Jiangnu to be arrested. Qin Shihuang saw her extraordinary beauty and insisted on making her his concubine. Meng Jiangnu said that as long as you promise me three things, I will promise you that I will build a long bridge, ten miles long and ten miles wide: The second is to build a tomb mound on a mountain ten miles away; the third is to wear sackcloth and pay homage in front of the tomb. Qin Shihuang agreed, and within a few days, all the long bridge and tombs had been built. Qin Shihuang, dressed in sackcloth, set off in a row, crossed the Great Wall and climbed the Long Bridge, and came to pay homage in front of the tomb. After the memorial ceremony, he asked Meng Jiangnu to follow him back to the palace. Meng Jiangnu sneered, then jumped into the sea holding her husband's ashes. For a moment, the waves rolled, as if she was lamenting for Meng Jiangnu. Later, a huge stone grew out of the sea, shaped like Meng Jiangnu. It was called Dongdaihe Jieshi - Meng Jiangnu's tomb by later generations. It has been passed down to this day.

During low tide, a stone road can be seen leading directly to the reef.

In the twinkling of an eye, the boulder standing on the left resembles a beautiful woman holding up her sleeves and wiping away tears, while the left resembles a human body lying on the ground. Meng Jiangnu is still watching Fan Xiliang hard on the sea. Maybe this is really the incarnation of the two of them...

The crowds are still there, the sunset is red several times

It was almost noon. After lunch, we set off for our next destination - Yingkou. However, it started to rain halfway. I like rain, so I temporarily decided to stop at the Liaohe Service Area to listen to the rain.

Encountering a small ancient city

The small courtyard under the city wall is very much like my grandma’s house when I was a child, which I will never go back to.

When I came to the post office, I met a few 50-year-old cyclists who also came to stamp postmarks.

The happiest thing in life is to sleep until you wake up naturally listening to the sound of raindrops, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.
