Will mention about Japan trip

Language, safety issues, food, shopping , weather

language

Although we both have studied Japanese, but! It's of no use. Because we still can’t speak, except for simple greetings, we generally stick to English.

Although the Japanese are indeed very poor in English, simple words and basic communication are still no problem, especially since most shops and restaurants have Chinese waiters. In addition, most Japanese characters use Chinese characters , so as long as you know a little bit of English, it will be fine , don’t worry!

As for the translation app, I really think it is useless. The Japanese people don’t know what they are saying when it is translated into Japanese. As long as you know ありがとうございます (Arigado is better than Zanyima), you are not afraid to travel all over Japan. (Okay, just kidding)

Security Question

Many people will ask: Aren't you two girls afraid of going abroad alone? Aren't parents worried? Of course I’m worried! But that didn’t stop us, after all, ticket refunds are too expensive…well, seriously.

Moreover, during that time, news of many people being killed in Japan emerged one after another. Junjunmi’s grandmother, grandma and mother kept telling her to refund her ticket and not to go. It was so unsafe for two girls to go abroad alone! It was pretty quiet here, even though my dad said it wasn't safe before, but he didn't say much after that. My parents must still be worried.

In fact, we also have various worries in our hearts. After all, being in a foreign country and having scenes from various TV series popping up in our heads cannot stop us. But we set off with some apprehension and came back safely. To be honest, there is really nothing to worry about, Japanese people are very friendly! very polite! Very qualified! No comparison will be made here.

eat eat eat

▲Don’t you serve sashimi and sushi every day?

▶ Breakfast:

▲Omelet rice

▲Meiji milk

Brown sugar milk

The thing we eat the most is 7-11, Lawson, FamilyMart noodles, rice, rice balls, milk , and the most eaten is brunch , it's really to save money! Although it's delicious. These three convenience stores, Only Lawson can accept Alipay The other two only accept cash and UnionPay cards. (Cheer for Jack Ma!)

My favorite is the Meiji milk above! ! It's really delicious, with a little bit of sweetness. But I want to mention one thing : This milk comes in a larger box, but I personally drank it two or three times and felt that the small box tastes different from the big box. In short, the small box tastes better.

▶ Lunch:

The only set meal

Food in Japan is really expensive, so we rarely eat set meals in order to save money. If I think about it carefully, I have forgotten exactly what we ate. Anyway, I didn’t have much impression, which proves that the food was very simple. I hope you can eat more special food when you go to Japan~

▶ Pull weeds:

▲Eel rice (delicious! But it’s really similar to China)

Ichiran Ramen (only this picture)

There are so many people queuing up, and many of the waiters are Chinese. You can only pay in cash! Because I didn’t have enough cash, I took the RMB to exchange. The two of them had a bowl of noodles together. Both Junjunmi and I thought it was not that delicious. Maybe everyone has different tastes. We don’t like the particularly strong pig (hair) flavor of the soup . If you like pork, don’t miss it...

Tax free tax refund

Many people may have this question before going abroad: What exactly is tax refund and exemption?

In Japan, if you purchase goods over a certain price, they are tax-free. To put it bluntly, it is cheaper. Because you are not a native of the country, you do not have to pay taxes in their country. As for China, everyone knows that the product price includes taxes and fees, but in Japan, taxes and fees are marked separately from the product price.

Generally you can get tax exemption if you spend more than 50,000 yen at a tax-free store. Many stores will have Tax free outside of them, which means it is tax-free.

You need to show your passport when paying the bill , and everyone will encounter the goods you purchased sealed in a bag marked "Cannot be opened before returning to the country" . At first we thought it really couldn't be disassembled, and we didn't dare to use the lotion we bought, but later we still used it. Don't worry, you have to eat and use it. The customs will not care at all. They will let you tear off the bill affixed to your passport, and they will not count the goods you purchased.

Shopping

(I personally think this is everyone’s favorite part)

Cosmeceuticals: Osaka is cheaper than Tokyo, and Kyoto is cheaper than Osaka.

We have been shopping in Osaka for a long time, but we feel that cosmeceuticals are quite expensive, and most of the same products in different drug stores have different prices. If you have time, shopping around is the way to go!

Moreover, the famous Matsumoto Kiyoshi and Daikoku Cosmetics are actually quite expensive! ! That’s what I feel anyway. You can take a look inside the subway station. The drugstores in the subway station are actually very cheap.

We went to Shin Kyogoku in Kyoto. We were almost exhausted when we arrived in Kyoto, but we still insisted on going to the drug store at night, and it was a last-minute decision.

It is recommended that you make a list before buying, and you don’t have to worry about the language at the drug store , there are Chinese shopping guides everywhere , even Japanese shopping guides shout "Welcome!" and You can just take the picture and ask her if she has anything you want to buy . Of course, there are also many Korean shopping guides. For example, once I was mistaken by a Korean guy in a drugstore as a Korean. When he saw me, he enthusiastically spoke Korean and asked me to go in and take a look. (So, actually the largest number of people in Japan are Chinese and Korean?? )

MUJI: In Japan, MUJI is really much cheaper! ! If you like this brand, you must buy it when you go to Japan! When I was shopping, I wanted to buy them all and take them home.

I didn’t buy any clothes, pants, or electronic products. I bought a Casio watch, a very cheap one, hahahaha.

weather

It's hot! The room is very air-conditioned! However, the wind in Osaka is very strong, which is still very pleasant, but the sun is really strong. I found that Japanese people don’t like to hold umbrellas and basically wear hats. Moreover, Japanese women do not wear shorts or skirts, most of them wear wide-leg pants. Many people bring jackets, probably because the air conditioning is too strong.
