This is a company incentive trip, free of charge.

Before departure, a colleague told me that the online weather forecast said there would be moderate to heavy rain in Hainan in the next few days.

Unexpectedly, during our four-day trip to Hainan, we really had to encounter rainwater every day.

Traveling in the rain does have its inconveniences. Not only but , walking through the green fields after the rain can also allow colleagues to fully experience the fresh air of Hainan Island, which is truly worthy of its reputation.

Day1 Haikou-Wenchang

We just came from Haikou Xiuying Port When I got ashore, the rain kept falling. Coconut trees On the coastal avenue, raindrops hit the windows of the minibus. The wheels rolled out fan-shaped water spray and moved forward slowly. The city has been Misty rain curtain Shrouded by.
We stopped in front of a Bao Luo Fen shop in Fucheng, Haikou. The male colleague, who had not prepared slippers in advance, was holding an umbrella and running barefoot, not to the powder store, but to the small supermarket nearby. It was important to buy slippers first.

The small pink shop was suddenly filled to the brim with us. I originally wanted to eat a bowl of marinated Baoluo noodles from my hometown Wenchang (commonly known as vermicelli noodles), but in the end I chose pickled Hainanese noodles (fine powder) - it seems smoother and saves money. time.

I invite everyone to eat it openly, preferably to try several types of noodles. Some colleagues exchanged their meals to make it fresh and fun .
It was raining so hard that the Hainan Provincial Museum was included in our itinerary early. Every time I visit a place, I buy a map first and go to the local museum when I have time. To understand a place, museums are the best windows.

The Hainan Provincial Museum was built in recent years. It is located on Guoxing Avenue , directly opposite the Provincial Party Committee, and not far away is the largest Henan Crossing River in Hainan.

From Guoxing Avenue, walk a few hundred meters across the river Qiongzhou Bridge , then pass (Feng) Baiju Avenue and you can take the expressway to Wenchang.

The cultural relic exhibits in the Provincial Museum seem relatively weak. Except for a Warring States Bronze Sword purchased for the museum's collection with special national funds, which is enough to see, most of the others are insignificant. Abig bronze drum, I don’t know if it is the original or a replica, but it left an impression on me.
At Hainan Provincial Museum
The display model of Hainan Provincial Museum is similar to that of Shenzhen Museum, which uses artificially constructed objects to display a considerable part of historical features.

The workmanship of the objects in the exhibition hall is also considered Lifelike For example, there are some that show the Hainan people's admiration Lady Xian The statue of A model of honest officials Hai Rui The statue of The modern part shows Haikou's old arcade street.

The museum's special exhibition hall displays the exquisite official kilns loaned by Jingdezhen Museum this time, called "Pearlful Color". However, in my opinion, I haven’t seen a few pieces that are crystal clear and perfectly made from nature. Maybe it’s just that I don’t recognize pearls.

We originally planned to go to Zhongshan Road next to the Bell Tower to see the Qilou Old Street , but it was raining heavily and we had to cancel it temporarily. Nanyang-style arcade buildings are also well preserved in Wencheng and Puqian Town of Wenchang City, especially Puqian Old Street.

Due to the transfer of the market center, Puqian Old Street allows people to see their original elegant appearance, but of course they have gone through many vicissitudes of life.

A Ruo Zai Wenchang Hotel
Our lunch was to eat Lingao Roast Suckling Pig next to the Haiken Overpass, which was quite crispy. Among them, Fish Sauce Sweet Potato Leaves was the most popular, and it was quickly swept away as soon as it was served.

In the afternoon, we went to Haikou Holiday Beach. It was very windy and rough at the beach, so I took a lot of floating photos of them. As soon as we got in the car, it was windy and rainy again.

After driving back to Wenchang city, we had dinner at the hotel first. After dinner, I took a few colleagues to walk around in the night.

On Wenzhong Road in front of Wenchang Middle School, my colleagues and I ate salt-baked chicken and refreshing together. When you come to Hainan in summer, you must eat some refreshing snacks. This can be said to be the most famous refreshing snack in Hainan.

Salt-baked chicken may be a special delicacy of the Hakka people in Guangdong. I don’t know when it has blossomed in Wenchang. It may be because it has the first place among the "Hainan's Four Famous Dishes" Wenchang ChickenThis unique resource.

Salt Baked Chicken on Wenzhong Road, I roughly counted more than a dozen of them, and they are already established in the market. At present, Wenzhong Road has become a well-known salt-baked chicken street. Many people come here from Haikou to taste it.
When I was in high school, I often had late-night snacks on Wenzhong Road with my classmates on weekends. What we ordered were mostly refreshing snacks, fried snails and fried rice noodles.

Whenever I think of my three years in high school, the best memory is the joy of enjoying delicious food and the leisurely state of mind. The ease of our high school life is beyond the imagination of many college classmates.

Day2 Sanya

The next day, after breakfast at the hotel, we went straight to Sanya. There are constant beautiful scenery along the way, tall coconut trees, green fields, relaxing in the drizzle.

After picking up the tour guide in Sanya, we headed towards Nanshan Temple along Sanya Bay Coconut Dream Corridor . Due to heavy rain for two consecutive days, the sea water in Sanya Bay is relatively turbid. It rained and the road was repaired. It was muddy and very congested.

Sanya Nanshan Scenic Area

Nanshan Scenic Area can be said to be the most famous attraction in Sanya. You can enjoy a considerable discount when buying tickets here with your Hainan Provincial ID Card. We visited Nanshan Temple in the drizzle and had a vegetarian meal in the temple.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, I returned from Nanshan Scenic Area. I sent my colleagues back to the hotel first, and then I rushed to Sanya No. 1 Farmers Market to buy seafood.

Brother Li is a security guard at the First Market and was introduced to me by Brother Zheng, a border police officer. Without the help of Brother Li, the people and the place are unfamiliar, so I alone, jumping and leaping in this crowded and noisy market, with big bags and small bags, it is really not an easy task .

Before leaving, my friends in Sanya hurriedly reminded me that I should be careful of theft when buying things in the First Market. Brother Li, who went to buy seafood with me, also said the same, I must not Don't be vigilant .
There are many tricks when buying seafood. With the security guard leading the way, I believe everyone will be treated fairly and even get some preferential treatment. For example, they will take the initiative to puncture our seafood bags and release the water. Weigh again.

With the fresh seafood we bought, we went to Spring Garden The model of buying seafood and then processing it has become a raging fire in Sanya, and the stalls and tables and chairs in the seafood square are packed. The hot tourism market in Asia, This can be seen from this.

A Ruo at the seaside of Nanshan Scenic Area in Sanya

After dinner, my colleagues all went to Dadonghai. Dadonghai is the earliest natural scenic spot developed in Sanya. It is free of charge. It is in the urban area and has convenient transportation. Some of our classes in junior high school organized trips there.

To this day, Dadonghai is still the most important scenic spot in Sanya. It is recommended to visit it when you come to Sanya.

College classmates Wang Wei and Zhou Qiang drove to pick up Brother Zheng and me at Chunyuan Seafood to sing karaoke. The location was the Kilin Hotel located on the bank of the Sanya River when Wang Wei got married.

At the Kirin Hotel, I warmly hugged my high school classmate Aqing after nine years of separation. These four classmates were all (formerly) military officers, and they all attended local universities and joined the army with their writing skills.

That night, Wang Wei lost more when he rolled the dice and drank more wine. Zhou Qiang was responsible for driving and drinking tea instead of wine. On the way here, we were stopped by the traffic police to check for drunk driving.

Ah Qing is gentle and has become much more mature and steady, which is really gratifying. Brother Zheng has loved singing since he was in junior high school. On a night like this, of course he has to show off his singing voice.

Day3 Sanya-Qionghai

The third day is the Mid-Autumn Festival. After breakfast, we headed towards Yalong Bay via Yu (Lingang) Ya (Longwan) Road .

Two mountains sandwich a bay, facing the vast South China Sea. Yalong Bay is shaped like a crescent , and the beach is fine and white . It is not easy to maintain it like this after so many years of development.

Colleagues in Yalong Bay, Sanya

Although the wind and waves are slightly stronger, the water in Yalong Bay is still clear and green. Even people like me who grew up by the sea think this bay is really beautiful. The water is so clear.

Some colleagues had already prepared swimsuits and went into the sea to play. Even though I'm prepared, I still have to do some liaison work and just walk around on the beach.

We took the Eastern Expressway back and had lunch at our hotel in Jiaji Town, Qionghai City. The hotel prepared meals for us early, which were all meat dishes. It was quite hearty, which shows their care.

After dinner, we crossed Wanquan River Bridge and headed to Boao Town. There was a road sign for Cai’s House (a nationally protected cultural relic and overseas Chinese building). We didn’t go in because we were in a hurry. change.

Bank of Wanquan River, Nanqiang Village, Boao Town, Qionghai

Boao has the famous Boao Forum for Asia , which is the outlet of three rivers including Wanquan River and has beautiful scenery. We played around Nanqiang Village and took photos by the Wanquan River. After having some fun, we headed back.

Coming back from Boao Town Qionghai Tayang Town , colleagues saw the roadside fields Fan Pomegranate Tree superior The results are numerous , out of curiosity, he asked the driver to stop the car temporarily.

I wanted to go to the fields to pick, but I couldn't find the owner, so I could only return home in despair. I felt so melancholy.

Arruo on the bank of Wanquan River in Boao Town

Before returning to Wenchang, I want my colleagues to experience Hainan's afternoon tea culture. The birthplace and gathering place of this culture should be my hometown Wenchang, which was brought back by overseas Chinese from Nanyang.

I have been immersed in this afternoon tea culture since I was in elementary school. When I had New Year’s money or pocket money from relatives, my classmates and I would go to the Chinese and Western tea shop next to the schoolto have breakfast and make tea. Fried dough sticks, triangular rice cakes or large barbecued pork buns.

We stopped at a tea shop in Huiwen Town. There were three large tables set up. It was quite a huge place and there was all you could eat of pastries, which attracted the side glances of the villagers.

Day4 Wenchang

The fourth day of the trip was all in Wenchang. I originally wanted to take everyone to the famous overseas Chinese building "Pine Tree House", but the driver didn't know the way, so I had to go to Paigang Village, Dongge Town to see Bamen Bay instead Mangrove.

The year before last, several Tianya netizens and I rented a small boat to swim in Bamen Bay and we approached Paigang Village from the inland sea.

Wenchang Bamen Bay Mangrove Forest

Heading to the small fishing port of Paigang Village, the road is lined with verdant mangroves . It is said that there are several sea lotus trees that are hundreds of years old nearby. Next to the creek under the mangrove forest, various crabs were crawling leisurely. Colleagues were very excited to see them.

And I thought that it would be very pleasant to ride on this newly opened greenway, with the breeze blowing in my face and eyes full of green.

On the Bamenwan Greenway

Looking at the other side of Paigang Village from a distance, it is shrouded in light smoke and the trees on the shore are dark green. I told my colleagues,On the other side of the sea is my hometown in the eastern suburbs.

On the tourist map of Paigang Village, my village’s name actually appeared, and everyone shouted that they must visit my house.

Aruo is in Paigang Village, Dongge Town

When visiting Paigang Village, we drove to Tongguling , and it was raining all the way. On one side of the mountain road is the sea, and on the other side of the white beach is Moon Bay. The car was filled with cheers.

Their eyes were filled with surprise and joy, and I was shocked by the beauty. However, due to the rain, the sea water at the mouth of Baoling River under Tongguling is relatively turbid.

The year before last, my junior high school classmate Zan Feng and I drove hereto climb a mountain and overlook the beautiful scenery of the sea and sky. The azure blue water was dazzling and psychedelic, and a few small fishing boats were vaguely swaying in the sea like paintings. of beauty.

Standing next to the Fengdong Stone in Tongguling, with the naked eye, we can vaguely see the Sea Fairy Island——The Seven Continents Islands, also You can see Baohu Ridge on the seaside winding .

Looking at Moon Bay from Tongguling Mountain Road

After descending from Tongguling, we headed to Stone Park. However, the simple trail was washed away by the recent rain, so we could only walk a long way.

In Stone Park, everything is original, and the shapes of various stones make people imagine. It is also the easternmost point of Hainan Island. The stormy waves kept beating against the rocks, quite majestic as "rolling up thousands of piles of snow".

A Ruo Zai Chang Shitou Park

Then the driver took us to Qishui Bay for lunch. When we were in high school, our class and several Marine Division trainee teachers came to Qishui Bay for a wild barbecue. It is close to Stone Park, but it takes a long detour to drive.

The driver was very familiar with the shop owner, and this seafood dinner was high quality and low price (I paid for it and reimbursed it back to Shenzhen).

Our seafood includes sea urchin soup , sea cucumber, conger eel, flounder, shrimp, crab, snail, large scallop, and fried Wenchang chicken, a big table full .
We ate in the woods outside the beach. Blowing the sea breeze, listening to the waves, looking at the clear blue water, eating a seafood feast like this, everything is so beautiful .
Drinking coconut water at Aruo’s house in Dongjiao Town

My hometown, Dongjiao Town, Wenchang City, is the famous Hometown of Coconuts. After eating the seafood, we headed to the coconut grove in the eastern suburbs. Following everyone’s calls, we went to my house first. Through phone calls, my mother had already picked twenty or thirty green coconuts.

Under the coconut tree in front of my house, my colleagues drank sweet coconut water and ate the smooth and tender coconut meat. Such a fresh and interesting experience is much more enjoyable than being at a tourist spot.

When I got out of the highway, I saw guavas for sale in Shangpowei, so I took my colleagues down to buy them to make up for the regret of not being able to go to the fields to pick them yesterday. Weswept goods along the way, attracting curious looks from passers-by and store owners.

Aruo is in Coconut Grove Bay in the eastern suburbs

The Eastern Suburb Coconut Grove was one of the top ten seaside scenic spots in the country in the 1980s and 1990s, and is as well-known as Sanya Tianya Haijiao in Hainan.

Later, due to the opening of the Hainan East Expressway, the standard routes of travel agencies gradually excluded Eastern Suburb Coconut Grove, and there were fewer and fewer foreign tourists.

Historically, villagers excavated burnt lime from coral reefs to make stones when building houses. As a result, the seawater in Coconut Grove Bay in the eastern suburbs seriously eroded the beach. The beach became worse and worse, and even the beautiful and lush coconut grove was diminished.

Here, I only saw a few sparse foreign tourists.

After visiting the Dongjiao Coconut Grove, we went to the "Chunguang" headquarters in Dongjiao New District to buy Hainan specialties. Then take a ferry from Dongjiao Pier across Qinglan Port, and then return to Wenchang Hotel for dinner.

At the dinner, everyone took turns toasting to the driver, Brother Lin, to thank him for his enthusiasm and patience for so many days. In the evening, we flew back to Shenzhen from Haikou.
