Thoughts on Four Days and Five Nights Beihai + Weizhou Island Guide with Budget

I went to Beihai City and Weizhou Island in the summer and did a lot of guides. I had a lot of fun and avoided some thunderstorms. I hope to share it with you through this post~ The full text is well documented and I want to tell everyone about even the smallest things. Arrive in Beihai at night and stay in a hotel near the sea near Old Street.

In the morning, we stroll around the old streets and have breakfast, then take a boat to Weizhou Island at noon.

✦ On the first day in Beihai, I stayed near Old Street to feel the local customs; on the last day in Silver Beach, I stayed to feel the characteristics of the scenic spot.

✦ I suffer from severe motion sickness, so we rented electric cars to run around on the island, just like the islanders, very comfortable~

✦ On the island, I stayed in a B&B above the Dishui Danping scenic spot. It was close to the beach and only took two or three minutes to walk.

We settled down at ten o'clock in the evening. It was a little late and we ordered a seafood barbecue takeaway. The one we ordered was not very real but the taste was okay.

Stroll around the old streets, eat seafood noodles, take a boat ride to the island, and watch the sunset.

We went to the old street early in the morning. The buildings in the old street are very unique. They are all former small western-style buildings. There are also some protected old trees on the roadside.

On the way back to the hotel, I bought seafood noodles. It cost ten yuan for a big bowl! The taste is light but delicious, the powder is soft, and the seafood is very generous.

We boarded the boat at half past eleven. The inside of the boat was like a waiting room, very big, with several floors.

You also need to buy a ticket to go to the island, because Weizhou Island itself is a geological park. You can buy it in advance or after disembarking. You can see the sea when you get out of the station, which is enchanting.

After leaving the station, we were picked up by a car sent by the B&B. It was a fast-moving three-wheeler that is characteristic of the island.

After settling down at the B&B and having a meal, we changed into swimsuits and went to the beach. It is a beach near Dishui Danping. The beach is thinner and suitable for swimming. In comparison, Weizhou Island does not have many tourists. It should be noted that there are white coral corpses on the beach. It is highly recommended to buy a pair of beach shoes. They don’t make a presence when worn. They can run on the reef with rubber soles and cannot get in the sand. They are very comfortable~

We went to watch the sunset at seven o'clock. The clouds before and after sunset were beautiful. We watched them for a while, but I didn't take any photos that day.

I climbed Crocodile Mountain in the morning, went to the seafood market to buy seafood at noon, took it back to the B&B for processing, went to church in the afternoon, and went to Colorful Beach in the evening.

The main purpose of going to Crocodile Mountain is to see the volcanic rocks. There are many steps to go down to the seaside. The scenery is great and it requires a lot of physical strength.

When you go to the seafood market at noon, you will first see a small one, and then walk further inside and you will see a larger seafood market that is older.

After a short lunch break, we went to the Catholic Church. If you enter the church entrance according to the navigation, electric vehicles are not allowed to enter, and tourists are required to pay to take a sightseeing bus. If you don’t want to take a sightseeing bus, you can study the map. There are still many other ways to go around the church.

The area near the church is more lively, so you can take a stroll and buy some fruits.

After visiting the church, we went to Wucai Beach. The sand at Wucai Beach is not as fine as that at Dishui Danping, and there are large rocks on the beach.

You can't see the sunset at Colorful Beach, but it's a good place to watch the sunrise, but you can sit and look at the rocks and listen to the sound of the waves.

Went to Wucai Beach to watch the sunrise, after that we went to Shell Beach to pick up shells, came back for a lunch break, went to eat in the afternoon, and in the evening went to Muya to watch the sunset.

I got up at five o'clock to watch the sunrise, put on sunscreen and rode an electric bike there. The sun rises and sets very quickly, so it is recommended to check out the route and rent a car a day in advance.

I think it’s very cute for a group of people to wait for the sunrise together. As soon as the sun comes out, everyone is like “Wow”.

Then we went to Shell Beach to pick up shells. Shell Beach is not far from Colorful Beach. When I left, I bought shrimp cakes, three for ten yuan. They tasted like they were made of rice. They have to be eaten while they are hot to taste better!

Go to Shell Beach to pick up shells! It is recommended to go there early and then ride a bike towards the inside, as there are fewer people there. You don’t have to always look for it where there is sea water. You can also look for it in the piles of coral shells accumulated on the beach.

I got up too early, picked up food for a while and then went back to bed to warm up. At one o'clock in the afternoon, I packed up and went out for dinner.

We bought our own seafood from the seafood market and had it processed at a nearby restaurant. The processing fee was about ten yuan per plate. The restaurant faces the sea and it is very comfortable to eat. Taking photos along the way is also very beautiful.

After dinner, we took a stroll to Muya to watch the sunset. We had to go early to feel the way. When you're almost there, there will be a villager's electric vehicle parking area, which costs three to five yuan, and they will give you directions.

It’s great to watch the sunset at Muya. After going down, there are flat stones. Walk to the seaside and sit down to watch the sunset. After sunset, you can enjoy the sea breeze and listen to the sound of the waves.

Go to Shell Beach in the morning to watch the sunrise and collect shells, take a boat back to Beihai at noon, and go to Silver Beach in the evening.

It is recommended to bring a beach towel to watch the sunrise and sunset for easy sitting. The sunrise at Shell Beach that day was really beautiful.

Return to Beihai, settle in and go to Silver Beach.

When I went to Silver Beach, I was confused by how many people there were. But when I walked in, stepped into the sea water, and watched the surrounding family or a few friends playing in the water together, the atmosphere was really great! My elder sister and I went to the supermarket with our things in our arms and didn't go into the water. We just stood in the water and watched them play for a long time, half an hour? One hour? I feel happy just standing there!

Then I went back to rest and left the next day.
