Jiangsanglam Peak:
At an altitude of 6536 meters, it is located in the Lagui Gangri Mountains, at the junction of Gyantse County in Shigatse and Langkazi County in Shannan Prefecture, Tibet. It is revered as the "Goddess of Wisdom" by the locals.
Viewed from the top, there are six 7,000-meter peaks around Jiangsanglam Mountain, namely: Ningjin Kangsha Peak (7,206 meters), Nyenchen Tanglha (7,160 meters), Qiongmu Gangri, Dromlage, and Heating Ka, Kula Gangri, and more than 20 6,000-meter peaks.
Qiang Ningcuo:
A lake hidden between Yamdrok Yumco and Pumok Yumco is an inland freshwater lake. Especially between the two sacred lakes, there are many temples. Every year, a large number of devout believers come to offer incense and worship Buddha. Affected by Yamdrok Yumco, Jiangsanlam and the Ningjin sand-resistant area in the north have heavy rainfall in summer, and there are often thunder and lightning weather, which will cause certain difficulties for climbers. Every year from April to May, September to October Month is the best season for climbing. When entering the mountain from July to August, you must decide your itinerary according to the weather at any time.
The advancement and retreat of glaciers is a manifestation of climate and environmental changes. Glacier action has a certain relationship with the rise and fall of the lake water level. It was discovered that there are many levels of ancient lake shorelines. It proves that the lake has experienced multiple rises and falls in the lake level.
What we call traditional climbing routes are:
Climbing southward along the Karula Glacier, establishing C1 and C2 camps on the glacier and the grain snow basin respectively, and climbing to the top from the snow slope just north of the mountain top. The base camp of Jiangsanglam Peak is built at 4800 meters, and the summit is 6558 meters. The total number of climbs The altitude is 1,900 meters, and the climb from base camp to the summit is about 10 kilometers, with a long climbing route.
( Note): Considering the low latitude of the mountain peaks and heavy rainfall, it may always be a deep snow terrain with soft snow layers, which makes movement difficult and requires too much physical effort. I will only choose to travel with people who have the same ideas. Just like this trip to the glacier, the four of us traveled together with the same ideas, the same steps, and a tacit understanding. The difficulties along the way were overcome by the love for the wilderness in our hearts. The three eldest brothers have all stayed in Tibet longer than me, but our original intention for the outdoors has always remained the same.
