3.1 Changi Airport

The outbound ticket was booked for a red-eye flight at 00:10 in the morning. The experience of the night flight was really terrible. The small cabin environment, the awkward sitting position in economy class, and the continuous violent turbulence made it really difficult to sleep.

I watched the boring movie in my seat anxiously. The 5 hours seemed like 10 hours. It was incredible that the two people next to me could Sleep so soundly.

It takes more than 6 hours to fly directly from Beijing and land at Changi Airport at 6:30. On the plane, the stewardess will issue an immigration card. After filling in the immigration card, you can queue up to submit your passport, visa, and flight and alcohol orders.

It was around 7am when we left the airport. Singapore's land area is not large, and the total area is only one-third of Jinan's, so transportation is also very convenient. We booked the airport pick-up and drop-off on Taobao in advance, or we could just queue up and take a taxi, which was very orderly and convenient.

Equarius Hotel

Taking a taxi from the airport to Sentosa costs about SGD 20-30 and more than 100 RMB. There are various levels of accommodation on Sentosa Island, and each hotel has different demographics and prices.

*Sentosa Express: Purchase tickets and board the train on the third floor of Hall L of Vivo City. The operating time is 7:00-24:00, and the ticket price is 4 Singapore dollars. The small train can take you to any attraction on the island for free, which is very convenient.

Dolphin Park

"Adventure Cove Waterpark" is one of the most popular amusement parks in Resorts World Sentosa, and Dolphin Discovery is definitely the most worthwhile experience in Adventure Cove Water Park!

The projects of Dolphin Park are divided into:

Dolphin Adventure: Dolphin escort means you can swim with dolphins. There are age and height requirements, and you need to be 4 years old and over 110cm with good swimming habits. In addition, children aged 4-12 must be accompanied by an adult, which means that children who want to play must buy an adult ticket together.

Dolphin Discovery: Dolphin discovery, this is still for those over 4 years old. Children under 110cm must be accompanied by an adult into the water. This project is to put on their wetsuits and jump into the dolphin pool. The dolphins will come over to play with you and you can touch them.

Dolphin Encounter: You can touch dolphins on the shore without going into the water.

Dolphin Observer: Dolphin observer. It sounds nice, but it actually means that your family goes into the water to play with dolphins, and you pay to watch them from the shore. Otherwise you won't even be able to enter this dolphin park.

Want to take a photo with dolphins? The only way is to buy photos! When you interact with the dolphins, a photographer will take various photos for you, and then give you a card when you go out. Save it and go to the store at the gate to buy your own photos. Super expensive! A group photo costs about 400 yuan, and the film is not included.

We chose Dolphin Encounter this time: because of the VIP treatment of staying at the Yihao Hotel, we didn’t have to queue up to make a reservation. We entered the dolphin park in advance. We didn’t go into the water, but just watched the dolphin show at close range on the shore, fed the small fish and touched the dolphins. , I forgot how much it cost, but the key thing is that they allowed me to bring a camera, which is really rare. Although I didn’t take many photos, I saved a lot of money.

Merlion Tower

Basically, the taste is relatively light and very clean. Although the price is not low, it is still moderate compared with the overall price in Singapore, about 80-100 per capita.

Adventure Cove Waterpark

After dinner, we went to the water adventure park next to it. The adventure rafting river is super long and circles the entire water park. The amusement area is surrounded by the river. On the way, we can pass many marine life museums and slowly float down in a circle. Got 20 minutes.

It has 6 exciting water slides, Southeast Asia's first hydromagnetic roller coaster, 14 theme areas such as surfing bay, adventure river, tropical rainforest park and caves inhabited by strange marine life, and coral reef snorkeling, suitable for the whole family. Especially recommended are the shark level, extreme slide, and spiral slide.

It is best to bring a waterproof bag for your mobile phone, and be sure to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours, including on your ears and neck. Singapore is in the tropics, the sun is very strong, and you may get sunburned!

Riptide Rocket
