Hi dear friend
Today’s topic is Hong Kong Hiking
Time: 2021.9-December
The previous article talked about the experience of studying in the first 98 days of school. It was very exciting to learn while having fun.
This issue will talk about the most exciting part of study tour in Hong Kong: hiking in the mountains and watching the sea
Hiking is very common in Hong Kong and is a must-have item for many people during holidays. People like Carina Lau and Chow Yun-fat also particularly like mountain climbing.
And I am a complete fan of the sea. I love Sanya, Bali, and even Qinghai Lake and Erhai Lake that are not seas.
So in Hong Kong, I simply realized the freedom of seeing the sea!
Today I will introduce eight hiking and sea-viewing spots that I have visited in the past three months👇
High Island Reservoir Lang Ke Wan
My first stop in Hong Kong was the MacLehose Trail. It was rated as one of the best hiking trails in the world by the National Geographic Society. It starts from Pak Tam Chung in Sai Kung, bypasses the High Island Reservoir, and traverses the New Territories from east to west. Tuen Mun is the end point.
The MacLehose Trail is divided into ten sections.
We walked the end of the first section and the beginning of the second section, East Dam of High Island Reservoir-Lang Kewan-Saiwan, which took 5 hours.
High Island Reservoir is the largest freshwater lake in Hong Kong. The water here is emerald green and a little blue.
The water quality of Long Ke Bay is transparent and the beach is white.
The entire hiking trail is full of original ecological atmosphere. There are no shops or toilets. Of course, it is all stone roads, but the sea view is different every time you walk. Stop and go, and be immersed in the mountains.
how to go?
Take a taxi from Sai Kung city center to High Island Reservoir East Dam, which takes about 30 minutes. From Sai Wan Pavilion, you can take the NR29 minibus or taxi back to Sai Kung.
Hiking supplies list:
Backpack; sneakers; sun protection gear; food and enough water; power bank
Hiking etiquette:
1. Say hello, say hello, or smile and nod to fellow hikers, and actively give way to fellow hikers who are walking faster.
2. Don’t make any noise
3. Don’t leave any trash behind and don’t take away any items.

Enlightenment
In fact, I was not very used to studying abroad at first, because I imagined that studying abroad should be very colorful, experience different cultures, meet many foreign friends, and see many things that are different from those in the mainland.
But at the beginning of the school year, I always went to school alone, went home alone, and went to class in Chu l2, just class, and I thought why is this like this.
Later, I was very lucky. I met very nice classmates and a very cohesive entertainment department. I also made very good friends, and my life became as exciting and interesting as college.
Finally, thank you for reading this~
good luck
We'll see you next Monday
