DAY4

Jurong Bird Park→Day ZooChinatown

01

Jurong Bird Park

On my fourth day in Singapore, today I want to check in at the Jurong Bird Park and the Singapore Zoo. The Bird Park is a separate park from other parks. It is the largest bird zoo in Asia, full of soaring bird stars, and wonderful things. The bird show makes it feel like walking in the rainforest.

Red Crane Pond
This is the habitat of Internet-famous birds. They are not only Internet-famous, but also very red in color. The banana leaves set off the flamingos. Every photo taken here is a perfect INS blockbuster.

Air Bird King Show
My understanding of birds has always been at the colorful level, until I watched the "King of Birds in the Sky Show" here. The birds that appeared in this show are all birds of prey, with sharp vision and agility. Under the instructions of the keepers, they launched a plunder in the air, fully demonstrating their hunting skills.

Cute penguins are in groups, looking cute and cute.
Dine with parrots and spread their wings to show off
In addition to thrilling performances such as the "King of the Birds Show", Jurong Bird Park also has a cute and lively "Spread Your Wings Show" performance.

Bird stars each have their own special skills. The hornbill Sunny and macaws showed everyone their special skills in traveling through the rainforest.

Enjoying the parrot show while tasting delicious food is also a great experience. You can also buy a cup of nectar to feed these colorful parrots and experience the feeling of being surrounded by the stars of the birds.

02

Day Zoo (Singapore Zoo)

We left Jurong Bird Park at around 12 noon and took a taxi to the Singapore Day Zoo. The biggest feature here is that there are no cages and the tropical rainforest style is very strong. All animals live in an open space, keeping safe and safe with tourists. Appropriate distance.

One of the highlights of the Singapore Zoo would have to be having breakfast with the orangutan family at Ah Meng Restaurant. Here, visitors can watch a family of orangutans while enjoying their morning meal.

There is a self-service ticket exchange machine at the entrance of the zoo. You can get your tickets with the verification code in the electronic document purchased online. The operation is very simple! Enter the verification code → click on the flag → print the paper ticket, it’s that easy!

The Singapore Zoo has several special projects. At certain times, there will be animal interaction time, such as the star animal of the park-the orangutan. Xiaoxuan and I were waiting in line to take a photo with the orangutan, and it started to rain heavily. , the keeper quickly took the orangutans home. Like humans, orangutans will catch a cold if they get caught in the rain.

Like Jurong Bird Park, there are different animal performances in different areas on a regular basis. We watched the elephant show and the human friends pet show.

You will see signs in every area along the way, all in Chinese, with the time of the animal show and your location on it. The animal show has a fixed time and number, and you need to enter in advance to occupy a seat. In addition, the activities of the animals are completely based on their own preferences. Whether you can see the true colors of the animals depends entirely on luck.

03

Night Safari

The Night Zoo is a specialty of Singapore. You can see the activities of some nocturnal animals at night by taking a sightseeing bus. Because you are already very tired after visiting the zoo during the day. If you continue to play the night zoo at night, adults will get tired easily and children will get sleepy easily, so it is not recommended.

The zoo in Singapore is quite far from the city center, and the taxi fare is really expensive. It is recommended that you book a taxi in advance and negotiate a fixed-price round-trip transfer.

04

China town

Chinatown "China town" was originally a place where Chinese immigrants in Singapore lived together. It is the oldest community in Singapore. Because in the early days, oxcarts were used to transport water here, so it was called Chinatown. This place is equivalent to Chinatown.

In the evening, I randomly found a stall to taste the "Nanyang delicacy" Songfa Bak Kut Teh. It is said to have a Michelin-flavored taste and has health and nourishing effects, but I really can't get used to the strong medicinal taste.

DAY5

Merlion Park → Raffles City Mall Return from Changi Airport

We woke up leisurely early in the morning, had a simple breakfast downstairs, and recharged ourselves for our last day in Singapore.

Say bye-bye to this hotel, and also let my "big guy" Canon 5D3 show up.

01

Merlion Park

Swissotel The Stamford is within walking distance of Merlion Park, the smallest park in Singapore. The water-spouting Merlionlion in the Merlion Park is a symbol of Singapore and a must-visit photo spot for every visitor to the Lion City.

Attached are the tourist photos of Xiaoxuan and I. The color saturation on a sunny day in Singapore is really high. Also, why is there no Mr. Li here in the Merlion statue? Because he disliked the heat, he stayed wherever it was cool.

Remember to try your best to catch the water the Merlion spits out when checking in and taking photos. It is said to be good luck for wealth.

Across the sea is the famous Marina Bay Sands Hotel. The architectural shape is three skyscrapers carrying a large ship, like an aircraft carrier floating in the sky. There is also a 150-meter-long infinity swimming pool on the ship. People in the pool can swim while overlooking the entire Singapore and admiring the skyline. Picturesque scenery.

One second it was and the sun was scorching , and the next second it was pouring with rain and all our original plans were disrupted. There were many places we wanted to visit today, such as Gardens by the Bay, Little India, museums, art galleries and so on. Although it rains a lot here, there is no need to panic, because the rain in Singapore comes and goes quickly.

02

Raffles Hotel

At noon, we had lunch at Raffles near Merlion Park.

After strolling around the mall, buying some souvenirs, and sitting in a cafe looking out the window at the hurried passers-by, I realized that for the first time in so many days I had the opportunity to calm down, slow down, let go of everything and take a serious look at the city.

Today is a really leisurely and relaxing day, so I packed my bags and prepared to return.

While waiting for the bus in the hotel lobby, Xiaoxuan competed with a beautiful Malaysian girl for a game console. Looking at his sharp eyes, she was afraid that he would pull off her headscarf.

03

Changi Airport

After exiting customs, there are many duty-free shops where you can do some final shopping and spend the remaining change in Singapore dollars. Regarding tax refund, as long as you spend more than S$100 in Singapore, you can get a 7% consumption tax refund. You can apply for a tax refund through the electronic tax refund self-service desk at the departure hall of Changi Airport.

Okay, this is really a very long travelogue. The longer I write it, the longer I write it. I slowly reminisce and slowly feel the joy, and then I finally decided to finish it this afternoon.

(caught in the luggage cart)

Five years have passed since this free trip, and I have always hoped to preserve something. Writing travel notes is the best way to preserve travel memories. I wrote this article based on looking at photos, notes and scattered memories. I hope that when I read it in the future, I will have beautiful memories in it!
