Although the time in Yellow River Suji was only 3 days, it was a long and flavorful trip.

My interest in Suji was aroused after traveling and became more and more intense.

Interest always comes first, action comes second. This time I went the other way, simply because I have a good travel companion who also loves destination hotels.

During our trip together, we were also attracted by a powerful charm, that is, the majestic charm - sacred mountains and sacred lakes, grasslands, deserts, large rivers - all places where we can see the ups and downs of the earth and the turning of the seasons. Every time I approach such magnificence, I will be left with a lot of beauty and emotion. What my companions often say is: "It's great to travel!"

When I went there, I only relied on a few impressions from a quick glance in my circle of friends and two rough pieces of information. One was that Yellow River Resort was very popular and it was hard to find a room, and the other was that it was called the Chinese version of Morocco.

My companion was encouraged by Xiaohongshu and arranged the entire trip. I was a follower.

Regarding travel, I really don’t want to be fooled by Little Red Book. I don’t like its monotonous aesthetic. Let’s call it the “Little Red Book-style” aesthetic. It’s all professional, urban, and magazine-style blockbusters. It seems like If you don't shoot it like that, you will be behind the times.

If I had a choice, I would prefer to press the shutter with my animal instinct, or observe like a child. This is much more difficult than Little Red Book, because instinct and children seem to be original, but they are the other side of the road that adults want to save and cannot reach. The only thing they can do is to be less affected and maintain some self.

A few days before departure, the stewards of Da Le Zhi Ye established a small group and sent us some materials and information in advance. There are two things I care about most. One is, are the flowers blooming? Second, how to wear clothes?

"The apricot blossoms have bloomed in the past two days, and the pear blossoms have also budded."

"Just bring a not-so-thick coat."

Everything I heard was good news. For a moment, I seemed to hear the sound of flowers blooming, and a flower event quietly started, waiting for us to get closer.

There are only two flights from Guangzhou to Yinchuan every day, either early in the morning or in the evening. We chose a late flight to arrive in Yinchuan, rested for one night in the only hotel near the airport, and then took the high-speed train to Zhongwei.

After returning, a friend asked Suji: "How is the hardware (in the room)?"

"very good."

This is the answer given by a sensitive person who has tried it himself. It is very credible and reliable.

I could barely sleep in the grand-looking airport hotel, but I slept well in Suji.

When I left, I bought two bottles of shampoo for the room in Lezhiye. For a person with frizzy hair, finding a suitable shampoo is an unexpected bonus during travel.

It is very convenient to take the high-speed rail from Yinchuan Airport to Zhongwei. The high-speed rail station is on the first negative floor of the airport and is almost seamless.

After an hour's drive, looking out the window at the rapidly receding yellow land, I felt a sense of trance: Why did I travel thousands of miles to come here? Just to take a look at the "Chinese version of Morocco"? I have some doubts and even prejudice against Internet celebrities. In any case, it will not be better than the legend.

However, it is so good. After only staying in Suji for half a day, I felt the length of time, as if I had been here for a long time, far away from the world and enjoying the beauty.

Time here is no longer just the present, but the past can be seen - it is nostalgic, and the future can be touched - it is ahead of its time.

Suji is located in Dawan Village, Changle Town, Zhongwei, Ningxia. The Yellow River turns a corner here, turning out deserts and oasis, and turning out a utopian travel destination that is almost not difficult to reach.

This utopia was created by five B&Bs that brought rebirth to Dawan Village and awakened a "forgotten beautiful place". I think this is the most realistic fairy tale I have ever seen. The "Sleeping Beauty" is awakened, which in turn empowers the "Prince". They live happily together, and the Yellow River Collection quickly becomes a powerful and independent IP.

We visited four of the B&Bs in Da Le Zhi Ye, Xi Spo, Feiziji, Nan'an and Xuli. We were deeply impressed by the creativity of the B&B owners. They created the houses, scenes and lifestyles to make everything reasonable and elegant. good.

Feiziji

The first thing that surprised us was Feiziji, the B&B closest to the Yellow River in Suji.

The box-like glass house, light and transparent, seems to have come out of thin air and appeared on the bank of the Yellow River.

The glass houses all have nice and easy-to-remember names: pear tree, reed, jujube tree, and flying bird.

The furniture in the house is light and movable, adding a sense of freedom and creativity.

A house like this makes people especially want to fall in love: make a pot of tea or a cup of coffee in a room with lighting from three sides, sit on the steps and bask in the sun, swing under the pear tree, walk into the reed marsh, and watch the Yellow River flow quietly. .

When we went there, Feiziji was building a new platform under a pear tree. In the future, this place will become a venue for "elegant gatherings". When we looked up, this pear tree actually opened first, as if it was waiting for something. Gathering together on the spot, waiting for everything to be ready, a burst of pear blossom rain fell.

After seeing Feizhiji and the surrounding area, the sun began to set, so we decided to go for a walk on the ancient Great Wall. On the way, we met the housekeeper from Da Le Zhi Ye. She and her two new colleagues were planning to visit the Great Wall, so we set off together. Suji is not a big place. We meet each other when we walk around, and we disperse again after walking around. The feeling of neighborhood is very strong.

Ancient Great Wall Ruins

The Great Wall is right next to the Yellow River at the entrance of the village. Starting from Feitji to the north, you will pass by the Wilderness of Joy and the Western Slope, and then two wild orchards. After passing through the garden, you can climb up the stairs.

The light was particularly good that day. I passed by the orchard and couldn't help but take pictures of the flowers: wild peach blossoms and apricot blossoms. The pear blossoms will bloom only after the apricot blossoms have fallen.

The Great Wall is very friendly and has almost no difficulty. Climbing high and looking far, or looking at Suji hidden among the flowers at that time, the feeling of traveling comes over strongly. One day, we are already thousands of miles away, and one day, we arrive at the Yellow River from the hot and humid south. On the shore, there is different sunshine and wind, different flowers and spring.

The word "outing" obviously does not apply to this place. The land is yellow, the reeds are yellow, the water of the Yellow River is yellow, and there are still trees that have not bloomed, and they are also iron-clad, isolated on the roadside or in the garden. However, we easily fell in love with this "hard and soft" spring, fell in love with the rammed earth-like background, and felt that there is no more beautiful "spring limited edition" than this.

Later, I found some summer pictures and sent them to my companion, and she pointedly pointed out: "What's so special about this? " "I still like the yellow ones, which feel like the northwest. "

To be honest, a picture can’t explain anything. There is only one way to travel, which is to be there and immerse yourself. After leaving Suji, I began to look forward to going there again and wanted to collect its four seasons, especially winter. I am very grateful that I met it in spring, a day with crisp sunshine and light wind. The weather suddenly changed the next day, with strong wind, cloudy weather and sandstorms. We had to abandon the Tengger Desert and divert to the North Changtan Ancient Village and Route 66.

south bank

Chen Zupin, the founder of Nan'an, is also the initiator of the Yellow River Suji project.

He spent seven years working on this project. He did not start construction in the first three years. Instead, he visited all local scholars and experts in literature and history and continued to demonstrate. In the end, as everyone can see, a young and difficult to define Destination was born.

He said: "Every shuji should have its own unique soul.

We cannot go back to the past, but we can feel the past of this land.

Let every beautiful moment in history be felt again on this land today. "

Yellow River Suji has been highly exposed in the past two years and is a destination with almost no secrets. This is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it has become the first choice on many people's destination list, but on the other hand, it is no longer mysterious. , lost the freshness, many people come here to repeat the same activities and take the same photos...

However, this is not the case. The unique warmth of homestays makes everyone’s experience different and even irrelevant. As long as they are not obsessed with the same style of celebrities or Internet celebrities, everyone will have their own travel memories and their own vision. Present.

After thinking about this, looking at Nan'an again is like seeing it for the first time.

Thanks to Wang Jian, the butler of Nan'an, for showing us around. We felt his enthusiasm, pride and attentiveness as a Nan'an person. When I was photographing the room, he turned on the lights. Nan'an is a work that has been devoted to the founder's efforts, and the details are very touching. The yak blanket on the bed is from the Nole brand, the cushions by the pool and the wall are century-old fabrics from Morocco, and the ceramic vessels in the yard are all designed and fired by ourselves. of.

west slope

Xipo is the filming location for the third season of the variety show "Dear Inn". It is also the first B&B I saw after entering Suji. After seeing it, I couldn't help but exclaimed: "Xipo!" It seemed like I was meeting an old man. friend.

On the day we visited the Western Slope, the weather was very bad, windy and dusty.

So I spent time in the very special long hall of Xipo, smelling the delicious aroma, and guessing which scenes would appear in "Dear Inn". Yes, my companion specifically watched the variety show after she came back. She said that the show was filmed in the summer. In comparison, she still feels that spring is more beautiful. That’s because we are here! If summer comes, maybe you will love summer even more, haha, idealism does not accept refutation.

The yard on the west slope is particularly beautiful, especially the backyard. There is the only wooden plank road leading to the Yellow River. There is a small viewing platform at the end of the plank road. There is a dining table and a few chairs on the platform. When the weather is good, you can make a reservation for dinner. While dining, feel the "sunset sun on the long river".

I like the long table under the pear tree, as if a dinner party had just ended last night, the laughter and laughter were left in the air, and there was a trace of confusion in the yellow sand in the sky.

I like the fire pit on the ground and the chairs in a circle, they are all the same as in my childhood memories.

The weather improved the next day, so I came over to take a few photos, just to capture the love at first sight I had on the first day.

The field of bliss

We lived in Dalue, but we didn’t take a good look at it and took the least photos.

Actions speak louder than words. I recommend Da Le. Everything was just right and the stay was very comfortable.

There is a lot of beauty in the Yellow River Suji, which makes people fall into little surprises unexpectedly - the changing lines and turns on the buildings, the old trees beside the low walls, and the haystacks under the flowering trees. , those piles of firewood used for evening bonfires in the forest clearings all make people happy, and they feel the vitality in them: the branches that were once blocked but are trying to grow, the traces of irregularity and not boring.

Shangtan Village

We find echoes of these beauties in Shangtan Village, an ancient village in North Changtan. Shangtan Village is the filming location of the movie "Mountains and Seas". Although there are still some old people left behind, the village is unstoppably declining. There are many jujube and pear trees in the village that are more than a hundred years old, but they have not yet bloomed. After all, it is a mountain. The flowering season is about a month later than at Yamashita.

It is such a desolate, seemingly abandoned village that makes us linger. We found here the secret of the beauty of Suji on the Yellow River. The same village cultural genes, Shangtan Village is wild, Suji is exquisite, Shangtan Village is heavy, Suji is light, Shangtan Village is concrete, Suji is abstract, even in the layout of the roads. , they all share a similar vein.

On the way back to Suji from Shangtan Village, we passed a section of highway known as "No. 66". The time pointed to five o'clock in the afternoon, and the sun suddenly broke through the clouds. Even though the air was still filled with dust, the color of the mountains could hardly be seen, and only some gray outlines could be seen. However, there was suddenly light on the road, and a soft layer of light appeared on the road. The light that envelopes everything is gentle and kind, like a sudden flash of inspiration.

I have been a road enthusiast since I was very young. I saw my first great sunrise on the road and never returned to where I started.

Roads mean so much to me, and of all the ways to travel, road trips are still my favorite.

So, that moment really meant a lot to us, having fun playing with the road for a while, taking pictures, running...

Still the same sentence: It’s great to travel and it’s great to meet someone.
