The location chosen for the third day was Zhenyuan Ancient Town, starting from the Dong Village and heading north, a distance of 230 kilometers and a drive of more than three hours. So we set out from the village in the morning, caught the first sightseeing bus to the parking lot, and drove off in our car.
Although Guizhou's economy is not very developed, its expressways are very developed and can be reached by expressways between major cities. For example, from Dong Village to Zhenyuan via Songcong Expressway and Tianhuang Expressway, the toll is 154 yuan. Guizhou's highways are pretty good, but the highway toll prices are also higher than the national average, which is fair when you think about it, because it's much more difficult to build highways here than in the mainland, and there are many caves and bridges. I kept driving through caves along the way, which made me have to keep turning the headlights on and off.
We arrived at Zhenyuan at almost ten o'clock. I thought we had arrived very early, but I didn't expect that although there is no need to take a sightseeing bus in this ancient town, there is an extremely traffic jam in the town. The hotel we booked is in the center, and you can't get in even if you drive in at the hotel entrance. , you need to drive forward for a while and then go back around, and then pass in front of the hotel to reach a temporary parking lot. The local government has managed it well and temporarily opened up the government parking lot. Although it charges a fee, it is already very good.
It took more than an hour to park the car and enter the hotel. Because the hotel is in a good location, you can reach the riverside in the center of the ancient town.
Zhenyuan Ancient Town is a 5A-level scenic spot that still belongs to Qiandongnan Prefecture. It is located on the bank of Wuyang River and is surrounded by mountains. The river meanders through the city in an "S" shape, with the old Fucheng on the north bank and the old Acropolis on the south bank. From a distance, it looks like a Tai Chi diagram. Both cities were built in the Ming Dynasty, and some of the city walls and gates are still preserved. We passed by them when we entered the city.
The location from the hotel is right at the bend of the S-shaped river. Looking from south to north, there is a temple-shaped building on the mountain opposite.
Walk left along the river, there is a bridge to the other side of the river.
The name of the bridge is Zhusheng Bridge, and there is a three-story pavilion in the middle of the bridge.

The temple-shaped building on the mountain we saw on the other side of the river is called Qinglong Cave. It is one of the famous local attractions. We bought a ticket to enter, walked up to a higher place, and took pictures of the Consecrated Bridge from a higher place. By the way, the original name of this bridge was "Xiqiao". Later, it was changed to "Zhusheng Bridge" because Emperor Kangxi celebrated his birthday. The bridge is 135 meters long, 8.5 meters wide and 14 meters high. It is a relatively long bridge not only in Guizhou, but also in the southwest region.
