It rained non-stop all night. Our original plan was to visit the core scenic spot of Huangguoshu in the morning and then go to Xingyi in the afternoon. Because we arrived half a day early yesterday, we had to find something new for this morning. The Shuangrufeng Scenic Area was mentioned in the travel guide, and the reviews were pretty good. It happened to be on the road, so it naturally became our goal. Of course, there is a place called Dragon Palace near Huangguoshu, but since I have never heard of it before, it means that this is a new scenic spot and it is also a place arranged by many travel agencies. I don’t have a good impression of it and choose to give up.
When we set off at 7 o'clock in the morning, the hotel owner hadn't gotten up yet, so we felt quite embarrassed to wake him up. Of course there was no breakfast in the hotel, so let's talk about it on the way!
It was still raining when we first came out, so we decided to take a section of the provincial road to see what the quality of Guizhou's provincial roads was.
Needless to say, this decision is really correct. The mountain scenery on the roadside under the rain and fog is a scenery in itself.
Occasionally stopping to take photos on the road

This panoramic photo itself has the meaning of a scenic spot. It seems that the mountains here all look like that, plus the vegetation is lush and green.
village
A road through the mountains. The quality of the provincial highway is also very good, and there are very few cars in the morning. It is not worse than taking the expressway, and you can save some money.
There is an observation deck on the roadside
It feels like a fairyland
Does it look like a paradise?

Mountains upon mountains

I don’t know what the name of the river in the distance is, it passes through the mountains.

traces of human habitation
Around 8.40, we came to a bridge. There was a breakfast stall on the roadside. The home-made snack here is rice noodles. The name of this bridge is "Beipanjiang Bridge", so the river I just saw is naturally Panjiang. I seem to have heard of this famous bridge. When I got closer, it turned out to be majestic and extraordinary, much beyond my expectation!
Take a photo at the bridge
There is an observation deck next to the bridge head, where you can see the panoramic view of the bridge. Unfortunately, my lens is not wide-angle enough. This is what it looks like at its best. The depth under the bridge cannot be shown at all. If there is a drone for aerial photography at this time, the effect will definitely be Very different.
The river flows under the bridge, which is built on a steep cliff.
It’s hard to imagine that I will be driving across this bridge in a while.
We entered the Shuangrufeng Scenic Area at almost ten o'clock. It rained heavily when we first parked the car, but we were the only tourists in this scenic area. Fortunately, the scenic spot is still open normally. There are sightseeing buses inside to take us to various scenic spots. There are only two of us on the entire sightseeing bus.
Guizhou Shuangrufeng Scenic Area is located at the junction of Mingu Town and Zhexiang Town, Zhenfeng County, Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It covers an area of 2,100 acres. It is rated as a famous summer resort mountain in China and one of the top ten charming scenic spots in Guizhou. I couldn’t see it because of the rain, so the “Top Ten Scenic Areas” were what attracted me.
The entire Zhenfeng County is one of the most typical and representative areas with karst landform development in China. This county is full of unique landscapes such as karst canyons, peak forests, stone forests, lakes, and caves. These landscapes show characteristics that are different from other places. Mountains rise from the flat ground, and there is often a single one, and another one not far away, either hemispherical or conical, just like the bubbles that pop up on the ground when it rains, or the steamed buns placed in the steamer of a farmhouse, or the Or like the stacks of wheat hay in the fields during the wheat harvest season...
The first scenic spot in the scenic spot is called the Zhulinbao Stone Forest. It is also a typical karst landform. It is small, exquisite, magical and unique, and is an independent forest. It is one of the eight major stone forest landscapes in Guizhou Province. OK! Enough talking, here are the photos!
Panoramic photos are even more spectacular!
The second scenic spot is called Zhenguan Temple. It is the restoration and reconstruction of the Guanyin Temple of Zhenfeng Zhexiang during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The driver of the sightseeing bus said that the incense was very strong because it was raining and could not be seen. In addition, my wife was unwilling to enter the temple, so I was the only tourist. What interests me is the second thing the driver said. There is a pure gold Buddha statue inside. When I went in, I saw that it was indeed pure gold. Unfortunately, it was less than half a meter tall and not majestic at all. This fully shows that gold is still very expensive.
After seeing the golden Buddha statue, I looked for the driver and waited for a long time before he came.
The third scenic spot, Buyi culture, is also not visible because of the rain. What is really representative of this place is the two "steamed bun" mountains in the distance.

It has distinctive features even when placed among the mountains! ! !
Close up
Shuangrufeng is named after its resemblance to the exposed breasts of Mother Earth. It is a unique peak in the karst landform and a miraculous natural creation. The peak is 1,266 meters above sea level and has a relative height of 262 meters. It is a geographical indication of Zhenfeng County. According to the research of geologists and tourism experts, the double-breasted peaks with such coordinated proportions and lifelike shapes are unique in China, and there are no similar discoveries in the world. Therefore, they are known as "the best peaks in the forest" and "wonders in the world". (The above passage is taken from Baidu)
