I picked up the car and went straight to Wenchang because my friend bought a house there.
My friend's house is in Moon Bay, Wenchang. This bay is rated as one of the ten most beautiful bays in Hainan. It has the widest and best-preserved coastal forest belt in Hainan Province.
The hotel we stayed in was in a friend's community, and the layout was exactly the same as that of his friend's house. You can watch the sunrise over the sea from the balcony of the room. The northernmost point of Wenchang is Mulan Bay. There is a navigation lighthouse with an altitude of 97.2 meters in the bay, which is known as the "No. 1 Lighthouse in Asia".
After coming out of Mulan Bay, my friends who lived in Wenchang went home to rest, and we looked at the billboards along the road to find tourist attractions.
On the way from Mulan Bay to Haikou, a gate on the roadside says "Qiongbei Prairie". There is actually a prairie in Hainan?
When I went in, I saw three yurts on a small wasteland.
Although it's not a prairie where cattle and sheep are visible due to the wind blowing over the grass, there are indeed cows, beautiful cows. We couldn't help but stop the car and play with the cows for a while.
There is a scenic spot named "Baohujiao" on the roadside sign. Following the navigation instructions, we drove onto a small sandy road that was only a little wider than the field ridge and next to the shrimp pond. Step by step, we walked down the high slope with surprise. seaside.
The Baohujiao that unfolds in front of you is an undeveloped virgin land. Look at the gray and brown boulders standing majestically under the impact of the waves, and listen to the rolling waves roaring on the rocks.

Unfortunately, it was almost 5 o'clock when we arrived at the entrance of the scenic spot, and the scenic spot could only be exited but not entered.

After leaving Wenchang, the car drove west and arrived in Ding'an County in more than an hour.

There is a natural volcanic cold spring in Jiuwentang Village, Longmen Town, the county. The local villagers have only used this spring for farmland irrigation, washing and grazing cattle for thousands of years. Nearly a hundred clear springs gurgled from the cracks in the strange-shaped volcanic rocks and gathered into ponds. Water lotuses are blooming in the pond, and small fish are weaving .

Our destination is a very niche place: Yanzi Cave in Shanqin Bay
Shanqin Bay is located in the north of Wanning, connecting with Qionghai, not far from Boao, and we still live in Boao.
The navigation led us to a property called Shanqin Bay. When I asked the locals where Yanzi Cave was, I couldn’t understand Hainanese, so I just heard the word “go”. So we inquired all the way and "got out" all the way. The wheels rolled on the village road leading to the seaside. The village road is very narrow and can only pass one car. There is a notice on the side of the road signed by the village committee: the village is raising money to repair the parking lot, and each vehicle entering the village will be charged 10 yuan. The car stopped on a slope and we followed the rugged mountain road to the beach. The black volcanic rocks on the seaside are rugged, the coarse yellow sand rubs your feet, and the blue water crashes against the shore.
Yanzi Cave is a reef on the seaside, about 20 meters high from the sea level to the top. Looking from inside the cave, the sea breeze is roaring and the sea and sky are the same color. The tide was rising at this time, and the waves rushed into the cave one after another, which was a thrilling feeling.
When you are tired from playing, buy a coconut to quench your thirst. The stall owner asked us if we wanted a car so he could drive us back to the parking lot. Just as I wanted to, walking on a mountain road for more than ten minutes with coarse sand that hurts my feet is really not fun. A gray-faced black pickup truck arrived. I wanted to take a photo before setting off. “Is this also a photo?” The driver was disdainful and confused. We were proud and embarrassed.
The full name is Lingshui Li Autonomous County, which is located in the southeast of Hainan Island. It has many famous attractions such as Nanwan Monkey Island, Diaoluoshan National Forest Park, Boundary Island, Clear Water Bay, Gaofeng Hot Spring, Coconut Island, Samadhi Temple, etc. Among them, Nanwan Monkey Island is the only tropical island in China and the world. Island macaque nature reserve. Boundary Island is one of the four famous tourist islands in Hainan (Wuzhizhou Island, West Island, Nanwan Monkey Island and Boundary Island).

Hainan's highways have fewer cars, wider roads, and better scenery. There are mountains, lakes, villages, and villages. There are bright red bougainvilleas on the roadside nearby, and there are thin clouds and mist in the mountains in the distance. Stay at the Vienna Hotel in Danzhou. When I stayed at the Vienna Hotel in Boao, the location of the hotel was very good, next to the seaside, and I got a sea view suite at a discounted price for a standard room. I don't have such good luck here. I'm thankful that I could stay in. The small hotel was overcrowded.
Going to Danzhou is not because of the historical sites, but because of the artificial island-Haihua Island invested and constructed by Evergrande Group. A friend from Wenchang said that the night view here is super beautiful.
Sea Flower Island consists of three independent offshore islands, which look like a sea flower from top to bottom. Island No. 1 is for tourism and vacation, Island No. 2 and No. 3 are for residential real estate.
The familiar Fire Palace occupies a large area here. It's just that the famous Changsha snacks such as stinky tofu and scallion pancakes here don't taste right, so it's okay to fool outsiders.
The so-called super beautiful night view may be referring to the light show on the building. Beautiful indeed. But the light show only lasted fifteen minutes, and when we returned to the hotel, we were blocked on the bridge on the outlying island for more than an hour.
Haikou, also known as "Coconut City", is the capital of Hainan Province. The starting point and the end point of our trip to Hainan.
Returning to Haikou from Danzhou, because we had a flight back to Changsha early the next morning, we stayed in a small hotel near the airport. Although it cost less than 150 yuan a night, this hotel was newly opened this year and it felt pretty good.
One day in Haikou

Then we went to Hainan University of Economics to have lunch with the daughter of a friend who works there.
The Qilou Old Street with a history of more than 700 years is one of the most prosperous streets in Haikou. Its buildings have strong traditional Chinese architectural features, imitation of Western architecture, and architectural and decorative styles of Nanyang culture. Each arcade tells a story and is a landscape painting.
"Qing Nian Liang" is a unique ice-cold dessert in Hainan. Add red beans (mung beans), barley, peanuts, hollow flour, coconut meat, red dates, watermelon dices, pineapple dices, etc. to the coconut milk. It seems that you can add anything, whatever is delicious. After eating all the way, Ye Yutang in Qilou Old Street is the most exquisite.
Of course, during this trip to Hainan, what I ate the most were coconuts. Coconut water quenches thirst, and coconut meat quenches cravings.
The scenery of the arcade old street, the old street in the morning after the rain may be gouache, and the old street in the dusk and sunset may be oil painting. I want to stay in the old street for a few more days, listen to stories and take pictures of the scenery.
