Scenic spot introduction:

Jinzhou Cuiyan Mountain Scenic Area is one of the ten scenic spots in Jinzhou. It has beautiful peaks and stacked rocks. Because of its open space, tranquility, and beautiful scenery, it has always been favored by those who practice spiritual cultivation. It is an ideal place for monks and Taoists to build temples and devote themselves to cultivation. As early as the Han Dynasty, tenants built temples at the foot of the mountain. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, the temple was still prosperous. In the early years of Daozong of the Liao Dynasty, the temple was repeatedly destroyed by war and was in dilapidated condition due to disrepair. In 1084, monk Zhixun of Daguangji Temple in Jinzhou rebuilt the temple at the foot of the mountain and named it Qingjing Temple, which is now Cuiyan Mountain Temple.
