The Shanhaiguan Fourth Field Provisional Headquarters was the former site of the Chinese People's Liberation Army's Provisional Headquarters in November 1948, when the Northeast People's Liberation Army entered the country to liberate Pingjin. In this well-structured courtyard, Lin Biao, Luo Ronghuan and other generals at the time stayed here, leaving indelible traces of history. At the same time, from 1950 to before the reform and opening up, the old site had always been a hotel that only received central leaders and celebrities from all walks of life. The Siye Temporary Headquarters is located in Mujia Hutong next to Shanhaiguan, the first pass in the world. It is a memorial hall renovated on the basis of a century-old house. How to get there:
Qinhuangdao: Tourists from all over the world can take a flight to Qinhuangdao Shanhaiguan Airport or take a train to Shanhaiguan Station.
Bus route: Take bus No. 21 in the city and get off at Bei Ma Hutong. Follow West Street → North Street and turn into Mujia Hutong and walk.
Self-driving route:
1. Beijing direction: Take the Beijing-Shenyang Expressway, exit from Qinhuangdao East/Shanhaiguan/S024 Exit and turn to G102. After arriving in the city, follow Jiaoshan Road → North Street → Just drive through Mujia Hutong.
2. Direction to Beidaihe: Just drive along Binhai Avenue → Lingqian Street → Middle section of Hebei Street → Donggang Road → Yansai Avenue → Guancheng North Road → Jiaoshan Road → North Street → Mujia Hutong.
