Lake Aibi in Xinjiang is the largest lake in the Junggar Basin and the largest saltwater lake in Xinjiang. The lake is oval in shape, with an area of 650 square kilometers, an average water depth of 2-3 meters, and an altitude of 189 meters. The Bortala River, Jinghe River, and Kuitun River flow into Lake Aibi from the west, south, and east directions respectively, becoming the main source of lake water.
