Fushun Marshal Lin is a mausoleum built by Zhang Xueliang and his wife, Zhang Zuolin's fifth concubine and others for his father Zhang Zuolin. It is located 38 kilometers east of Fushun City in eastern Liaoning Province. The entire cemetery faces north and south and consists of three parts: a square city, a round city, and a tomb chamber. The overall building is grand in scale, rigorous in layout, and splendid in golden walls. On the morning of June 4, 1928, Zhang Zuolin was premeditated and murdered by the Japanese when he was returning to Shenyang from Beijing to Huanggutun on a special train. The scenic area contains the largest group of Ming and Qing stone carvings and a forest of modern calligraphy steles in northern China, which are comparable to the Three Tombs outside Qingguan.
