Liaohe Museum is located in the beautiful Lianhua Lake National Wetland Park in Tieling New District, with a total construction area of 14,400 square meters. The main building has three floors above ground and one underground floor, with an exhibition area of 8,000 square meters. The towering 40-meter-high observation tower overlooks the entire Tieling New City. The exhibition hall in the museum is divided into three parts: the first part is Liaohe Civilization, which mainly reflects the origin, culture, history, folk customs of Liaohe River and the development and changes of Liaohe River Basin; the second part is Liaohe River Governance, which focuses on the origin of Liaohe River, Liaohe River ecology, and Liaohe River governance. The museum is located in Lianhua Lake Wetland Park.
Bus route: Take No. 102 in the center of Tieling to Shuimu Garden or the North Gate of Teachers College, and get off No. 101 to Municipal Health School or Lianhua Middle School. You can walk after getting off the bus or take a taxi.
Self-driving route: Take Beijing-Harbin Expressway in the direction of Shenyang, turn into G102 at Liaozhong Ring Expressway, and then turn into Songshan Road via Lancangjiang Road. In Tieling City, take Songshan Road and turn into Heilongjiang Road from Zhongshan Road.
