Scenic spot introduction:

Xiang'er Mountain is the source of Pu River and is located in Manchu Township, Hengdaohezi, Tieling County, Tieling City. According to legend, three hundred years ago, Nurhachi, the emperor of the Qing Dynasty, fought against the Ming army in the Sarhu region. Due to the defeat, he beheaded his eldest son Chu Ying in a rage to boost morale, and he won a complete victory. Later, Shenyang, Fushun and Liaoyang were captured. On the day when the capital was moved, Taizu and his generals passed by Sancha Ridge and rested at the foot of the Great Wall. When they looked up, they saw a big bird circling in the sky and flying to Taizu's head, watching Taizu chirp. Taizu suspected that it was his son Chu Ying, so he burst into tears. In an instant, dark clouds covered the sky, thunder roared, mountains collapsed and the ground cracked, and gravel fell from the sky like a waterfall. When the dark clouds cleared, countless gravels were seen scattered across the mountains, and the two lines of tears left by Taizu turned into two eyes of mountain springs. From then on, the mountain where Taizu rested was called Xiang'er Mountain.
