Pingle Tourist Area is located in Liuqiao Township, about 16 kilometers away from Guangyuan City, with a planned area of 25 square kilometers. At the end of July every year, the "Pingle Lotus Cultural Tourism Festival" is held. In addition to the best time to appreciate lotus, there will also be a photography competition, Pingle Temple blessing ceremony, vegetarian experience, bicycle riding and roller skating performances, and special snacks. Food exhibitions and sales, Zen tea performances and cultural relics exhibitions, guzheng playing, calligraphy and painting performances, beer barbecue music summer party and other activities will continue until September.

How to get there:
Bus route: Take Route 11 in Guangyuan City, get off at the terminal station and then transfer to a van. The total fare does not exceed 5 yuan.
Self-driving route:
1. Take the Beijing-Kunming Expressway in the direction of Chengdu → Guangba Expressway, exit from the Yuanba/S202 exit, and drive along Jiameng Road → S202 to Pinganchang.
2. From Guangyuan City, drive along National Highway 212 to Liuqiao Township, Zhaohua District.
