Introduction to the Chateau Frontenac: The Chateau Frontenac is located in the Upper City. It is about 120 meters high and was built in 1893. It was once the official residence of the French colonial governor in the 17th century - the Chateau Saint-Louis. The bronze roof towers at the top of the tower, the orange-red brick walls of the castle and the surrounding fairy-tale columns look even more graceful and luxurious against the backdrop of white snow.
