Introduction to the Lincoln Memorial: The Lincoln Memorial is a memorial hall established to commemorate President Lincoln of the United States. It is located on the west side of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., in front of the approach road of the Arlington Memorial Bridge, and Congress and the Washington Monument line up. The Lincoln Memorial is managed by the National Park Service and is open to the public free of charge all year round.
