Introduction to the Arch of Triumph in the Forum: The Arch of Titus is a marble single-arch triumphal arch on the southeastern holy road of the ancient Roman Forum. It was built by Emperor Domitian shortly after the death of his brother Titus to commemorate the conquest and destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Ending the Jewish Revolt that began in 1966. The Arch of Titus has the only existing depiction of the artifacts of the Jerusalem Temple, and was the object of imitation by many triumphal arches after the 16th century.
The Arch of Severus is a white marble building at the northwest end of the ancient Roman Forum. It was built in 203 AD to celebrate the Emperor Septimius Severus and his two sons Caracalla and Septimius. Us al-Qaeda defeated Persia twice in 194/195 and 197-199.
