Introduction to Pitti Palace: Pitti Palace is connected to the Uffizi Gallery on the other side of the Arno River through the Vasariano Corridor. The palace was built by the Florentine merchant Pitti in 1457, hence its name. . In 1465, the Pitti Palace was purchased by Cosimo Medici and became the palace of the Medici family. The interior decoration of the Pitti Palace is in the classic 17th-18th century Baroque style. It is divided into the Palatine Painting Museum, the Silver Museum, the Modern Painting Museum, the Costume Museum, the Pottery Museum, the Concert Hall, etc., collectively known as the Pitti Art Museum , which houses art and treasures owned by the Medici family, including 11 works by Raphael.
