Introduction to the Lady of Justice Fountain: In the middle of the square there is a Fountain of the Lady of Justice erected in 1611. The goddess holds a scale symbolizing justice, which reminds people of the medieval court trials. The statue was originally made of sandstone and was replaced with a bronze statue in 1887. The fountain below once sprayed red and white wine for citizens to share during the coronation ceremony.
