Introduction to the Old City Hall: The Old City Hall is located on the east side of Marienplatz. It was the site of the Munich City Hall before 1874. The Old City Hall was severely damaged during World War II, and the reconstruction work lasted for decades. By 1975 the dishes were all over.
Today the Old Town Hall houses a toy museum that occupies four rooms in the tower and is spread over four floors. The collections in the museum are all unique toys, some from Europe and some from the United States, and you can also discover some history about toys.
