Introduction to the Pantheon: The Pantheon, also known as the Pantheon, is located near Piazza Navona. It is the palace of the gods in ancient Roman mythology. In 609 AD, the Byzantine Emperor dedicated the Pantheon to Pope Boniface IV, who renamed it the Church of the Virgin and the Martyrs. It is one of the few ancient Preserved buildings in Rome.
