Introduction to Piazza del Plebiscito: Piazza del Plebiscito (Italian: Piazza del Plebiscito) is the largest city square in Naples. It was built in 1817 by the architect Pietro Bianchi appointed by Ferdinando I of the Bourbon dynasty and was built by the king of the Bourbon family. Completed by Ferdinand IV, the square is surrounded by the Royal Palace of Naples and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi.
