Introduction to the Treasure Hall: The Kremlin Armory (Kremlin Armory) was once the site of the Arsenal Arsenal. In 1720, Peter the Great converted it into a treasure hall for collecting jewelry and paintings. The original treasure hall was divided into gold and silver. There are museums, icon painting galleries and workshops that make dresses, ceremonial utensils and high-end carriages for the Tsar.
Today, the Armory Hall is open to the public as a museum. It contains many precious cultural relics such as items used by the tsars of the past, arts and crafts, as well as looted trophies.
