Introduction to the Carriage Museum: The Carriage Museum was built by Louis Philippe in 1851. It was originally located in Trianon and was moved to the large stables built in 1680 in 1985. The museum is open from April to October every year. Open to the public, the corridors in the museum still maintain the appearance of the Louis XIV period: high vaults, sandstone pavement, oak siding, feeding racks for feeding feed, and old-style forged ceiling lights with shields. The entire corridor is long 64 meters, with 38 stalls, which means that 38 horses can be raised at the same time. These horses are divided into levels according to kings, crown princes and princes, and each level has a dedicated person in charge. In it, you can see the richest collection of carriages in the corridors of the Trianon Palace from the 18th to the 20th centuries. All carriages are exquisitely made and have participated in one or several major events in French history, witnessing the Royal Palace of Versailles. The history of cavalry.
