Introduction to the French Cathedral: The French Cathedral (Franzosischer Dom) was designed by Cayart from 1701 to 1705. It was built for the Huguenots who fled France to Berlin. The central building of the church is rectangular, with two semicircular buildings on both sides of its long side. From 1780 to 1785, a striking tower top was added. The interior is now the Hugenotten Museum.
