Introduction to Unter den Linden: Unter den Linden is about 1.5 kilometers long and is one of the most charming roads in Berlin. There are many famous buildings on both sides of the street. The western end is the embassy district, the middle section has many interesting shops, and the eastern section is Bebelplatz - the site of the Nazi book burning incident in 1933.
