Introduction to the Grand Canyon of Luxembourg: The Grand Canyon of Luxembourg is also known as the Petros Grand Canyon. This 100-meter-wide and 60-meter-deep trench is the natural boundary between the old and new urban areas of Luxembourg City. Historically, Luxembourg has always been regarded as a military center. The citizens built the Petros Fortress using the natural rocks of the canyon to build fortresses, gunports and secret passages. This is evidence that the place was once full of smoke.
Now that the smoke has receded, the gurgling streams and lush trees in the canyon have become the natural forest oxygen bar of Luxembourg City, forming a wonderful scene where modern civilization and natural ecology coexist harmoniously.
