Introduction to Týnem Church: Týnem Church (Kostel Matky Boží před Týnem) is the oldest and most eye-catching Gothic building in the Old Town Square. The church was first built in 1135, and the building you see now was built in In 1365, it was famous for its Gothic-style twin towers. The tops were decorated with pure gold rods, and the total height was about 80 meters. Because the shape of the church resembled the Devil's Castle in fairy tales, it was also vividly called the "Devil's Church". ".
Although Tyn Church has become a familiar name to most people, in fact the original name of this church is "Church of the Virgin Mary in front of Tyn (Inland Revenue)". Tyn Church played the role of Prague from the 15th to the early 17th century. It played an important role in the Reformation and was the main gathering place of the Hussites.
