Introduction to the waterfall fountain group: The central waterfall is located in front of the Grand Palace and is the core of the Peter Palace complex. The entire fountain area is themed to promote the Russian Empire and commemorate the victory in the battle for the seaport. It consists of seven steps on the left and right. It consists of a waterfall, a three-story central stepped waterfall and 72 large and small fountains.
In the small square in front of the cool cave in the center of the waterfall is the ingeniously conceived "Flower Basket" fountain. The fountain consists of 28 water columns, forming a pattern of flower baskets in the air, and small flowers and leaves in the shape of flowers and leaves are sprayed out from the water column flower baskets. The water columns, all intertwined into a group of flower baskets in the air, look toward the Grand Palace, expressing the highest respect for the Russian royal family.
The stepped waterfalls on both sides of the waterfall have gold-plated semi-reliefs on each step. 14 vertical water column fountains spurt out from both sides of the waterfall. The retaining walls on both sides of the steps and the granite base above have ancient Greek sculptures. Gilded statues of characters from the story.
