Introduction to the Blackhead House: The "Blackheads House" was built in 1580 and was named after the Blackhead Brotherhood. This was once a gathering place for single aristocrats from the Baltic Chamber of Commerce. The doorkeeper was a black man, which was extremely rare in the Baltic region at that time. In 2001, to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the founding of the city of Riga, the building was rebuilt according to historical pictures. The facade is full of light, and the golden decoration is particularly eye-catching on the red brick wall.
