Introduction to Riga Castle: Riga Castle (Rīgas Pils) was built in 1330 and is located on the banks of the Daugava River. The castle was once three-story, surrounding a rectangular courtyard with four towers at the corners. Now, it is the seat of the Presidential Palace, as well as the Latvian History Museum and the Museum of Foreign Art.
