Railway introduction: The second major railway in Siberia - the Beia-Asia Railway, starts from Ust-Kut in Baikal in the west and ends in Komsomolsk in Amur in the east. The railway runs eastward along the lake, with towering cliffs and numerous strange rocks. It passes through about 50 tunnels, sometimes flying over overpasses, and sometimes crossing peaks and gorges. It is strange, dangerous and magnificent. Tourists can get on the bus directly at Irkutsk Railway Station, stop and go around the lake, and return by bus from Listyanka in the evening.
