Introduction to Beijing Street: In June 2006, to celebrate the signing of a sister city relationship agreement between Bucharest and Beijing, China, the Bucharest City Council passed a resolution to name a street after the Chinese capital. "Beijing Street" is about 1.5 kilometers long and is located between Mi Eliade Road and Ni Karamfeir Road in the first district of Bucharest. The Romanian State Guesthouse and the Chinese Embassy in Romania are located on the north and south sides of the road respectively. Important parks in the city and scenic spots such as the Bodhi Tree Lake are also nearby.
