Introduction to the Church of St. Kinga: The most spectacular religious site in the salt mine is the Chapel of the Princess of St. Kinga, 101.4 meters underground. It was completed in 1896. The chapel is 10 meters high, 54 meters long and 18 meters wide at its widest point. This huge underground palace took 3 miners 67 years to dig.
