Introduction to the Capitol Building: The two buildings of the Capitol Building stand side by side and are connected by an aisle in the middle, forming an "H" shape. "H" is the first letter of "human" in Portuguese, so this shape means "people-oriented" and "human beings dominate the world". There are two huge "bowls" on the platform in front of the Capitol. One bowl, with its mouth facing upward, is the chamber of the House of Representatives, because it is open to the public when the House of Representatives is in session; the other with its mouth facing downwards, is the chamber of the Senate. Because the issues before the Senate often involve state secrets.
