Introduction to Bolivar Square: Bolivar Square is located in the center of Bogotá. It was formerly known as the Central Square. It is a large Spanish-style square built under the orders of the Spanish royal family. In the center of the square, a tall statue of Simon Bolivar riding a horse stands on a monument about 3 meters high, majestic and solemn. There are fountains with colored lights around. Every night, the colored lights are turned on, the spring water is radiating, the streams of light are twinkling and colorful.
