Introduction to the City Hall: The City Hall is the central building of the City Hall Square. It was designed and built between 1892 and 1905 by architect Martin Neuapp. The building combines the styles of ancient Denmark and the Italian Renaissance. The city hall covers an area of 7,000 square meters. It has a brown appearance and looks very ancient in Nordic style. Above the main entrance stands a statue of Absalon, the founder of Copenhagen, and a shield-shaped city emblem. The inside and outside of the building are decorated with fine carvings and Beautiful painting, used mainly for wedding ceremonies and official receptions.
