Introduction to Castle Island: Castle Island (Slotsholmen) is part of the inner city of Copenhagen and houses many of Denmark's central institutions. In addition to the Parliament, it also includes the Supreme Court, the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Finance, as well as the old Stock Exchange Center and the Royal Danish Library. The Danish National Archives and several museums are also located on the island.
