Introduction to Victoria: The capital Victoria is the only city and port in Seychelles. It is located in the northeast corner of Mahe Island. The city is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the environment is elegant and beautiful. On Independence Street in the city center stands a large commemorative statue imitating three seagulls. It is a symbol of the Seychelles ancestors who flew across the oceans from Europe, Asia and Africa to develop and live on this desert island more than 200 years ago.
