Introduction to Nairobi National Park: Nairobi National Park is only 7 kilometers away from the center of Nairobi. It is the first national park in East Africa and the only national park in the world located in a capital city.
The park was established in 1946 and covers an area of 117 square kilometers. More than 100 species of mammals and more than 400 species of unique migratory birds inhabit the park, mainly antelopes, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, and hippopotamuses. , rhino, lion, bison, orangutan, baboon, ostrich, guinea fowl, etc. It is a "semi-open" park. Many animals such as wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, antelope, etc. often migrate inside and outside the park. They leave during the rainy season and return during the dry season. For this reason, no obstacles are set up in the southern part of the park as a passage for animal migration. There is an animal orphanage next to the park.
