Introduction to the royal palace ruins: The royal palace ruins of the Abome Kingdom cover an area of approximately 0.4 square kilometers. There are 12 palaces built by successive kings from Dakdonu to Agoliagpo. The palaces are surrounded by adobe walls. In the Grand Palace area, each building has its own wall, forming three connected courtyards within the wall. The outer courtyard is mainly used for ceremonial activities and military parades. One inner courtyard is used for storage of items, and the other is the living courtyard for the king and queen.
