Introduction to the Arena: The Arena Amphitheater is located near Piazza Bra in the city center and is the largest arena in Italy second only to Rome. The arena was built in the 1st century AD and still retains its original appearance. The entire arena is oval in shape, with a long diameter of 152 meters, a short diameter of 128 meters and a height of 30 meters. It can accommodate more than 30,000 people.
