Introduction to Corniglia: Corniglia is built on the top of a mountain cliff and is the tallest of the five villages. There is a mountain road to climb from the station to the fishing village, and the streets are narrow and winding. It goes up and down. It is also the only village in the Cinque Terre that is not mainly engaged in "fishing" but is basically engaged in agriculture. The village is surrounded by vineyards, and the local grapes are used to make white wine and Shaktra wine named after the "Cinque Terre". Cinque Terre’s white wine is known for its appropriate salinity and purity, and complements local seafood delicacies.
