Introduction to Ailian Pond: Ailian Pond is located on the east side of the former Nankang government office in Xingzi County. It is the place where Dunyi (Lianxi) of the Song and Zhou Dynasties enjoyed lotus appreciation and wrote about lotus. It has a history of nearly a thousand years. The pool is square in shape and covers an area of nearly 170 square meters. A high stone platform is built in the pool, and a "Guanfu Pavilion" is built on the platform. The platform covers an area of 70 square meters and is filled with "five-color soil". There are stone bridges and curved railings connected to the platform at both ends. In Taipei, there is a 20-meter-long zigzag stone bridge with five holes and six holes, and in Tainan, there is an 18-meter-long bluestone flat bridge with three holes and four holes. The pool is divided into ten square pools, with lotus flowers that "can be viewed from a distance but not played with" planted.
