Introduction to the Ten Thousand Flower Array Maze: Also known as the Yellow Flower Array, it was completed during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It was burned down by the British and French forces in 1860 and rebuilt in 1989. The garden door is in the shape of a Western pedestal and has two doors with brass carved patterns. In the center of the garden maze is a stone pavilion with Western-style seats. Every Mid-Autumn Festival, the emperor sits in the pavilion, and the maids hold yellow lotus lanterns and enter from the entrance of the maze. Whoever reaches the pavilion first will be rewarded, so it is also called the Yellow Flower Array.
